The Interplay of Light and Shadow

What you see now is the first layer of the path beneath my work—
the living movement between illumination and depth.

The way healing unfolds
is never linear.
It breathes.

It moves through 光 (hikari) and 影 (kage)
over and over again:

Light that reveals.
Shadow that returns.
Contrast that clarifies.
Depth that softens.
Insight that rises.
Weight that descends.

Nothing about this path is “good” or “bad.”
Nothing is higher or lower.
Everything is necessary.

光 and 影 are not opposites—
they are partners.
They define each other.
They sharpen each other.
They make truth visible.

And every session, every shift,
every moment you’ve ever felt something move inside you
has passed through this interplay.

光 — Light
reveals what is ready to come forward.

影 — Shadow
reveals what has been tucked away.

One is not above the other.
One does not override the other.
Both are movements of truth—
one rising, one returning.

To work with either
you must be able to see both.

This gate is where your eyes adjust.

The door to the next gate
cannot be forced open.

It must be understood.

Light without shadow is blinding.
Shadow without light is consuming.
Only the one who can recognize both
is ready to go deeper.

To pass this gate,
you must answer a single question:

What emerges
when light and shadow are held equally—
without preference,
without resistance—
as two expressions of one truth?

The answer is the name of the next current.
The one that lives between them.

It is in the structure of the path itself.
